There are way too many shades of lip colors out there to keep reaching for that same ol' nude, pink or red.
Please do not go through life without trying on a purple lipstick! You may think its totally out of your comfort zone or just "too daring" But trust me once you find the shade that works best with you, you'll thank me ;)
For pale/light skin tones, avoid dark shades as it can tend to make lips look smaller. Choose a color with a blue or pink undertone. For a medium skin tone, choose a shade with more yellow undertones. And for darker skin tones definitely experiment with different colors because many shades on the purple spectrum can compliment you.

Anywhere from hanging out in the sun on the beach or a night out in the city, orange can be such fun wear! Yes, its a little daring, but why not have some fun with make up. I would totally recommend wearing this with a clean look. A little mascara and a sweep of blush or bronzer, but keep the lips a focal point.. And if orange is a little too bold for you, try toning it down with a nude liptick or lip gloss on top, or even opt for a more coral shade with a warmer undertone.

When was the last time you reached for your hot pink, fushia lipstick? Yeah that long, me too :/ But I just made a repurchase of MAC's lipstick Girl About Town and I'm in love again! A little too hesitant to try out such a bold color. Try just lightly dabbing it onto your lips to create a light "stain" effect, and if you like it, add some clear or light color gloss to create a youthful look.

Orange! So excited about this post! My favorite lip gloss was a nude-peach with an orange undertone bu Shiaeido. I would have never picked it out on my own, but fell in love with thw color after receiving it as a gift. Unfortunately this gloss was discontinued and I've spent years trying to match it with no luck. Your advice is exactly what I've been looking for to replicate the color!! Perfect! Thank you!
